THE MINISTER OF BLACK VEIL.

There was a church in which a very reconized preacher decided to come and give his sermon by covering his face with a Balck Veil.

MR HOPPER started his sermon

On Sunday morning Mr Hoppers started his sermon by wearing for the first time the piece of black crape, whith double folds. He started reading the Psalms and praying.

ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh my God!

People in the congregation looked at him with atonishment, and they thought that he saw the secrets and sins of their hearts.

There is something wrong with Mr Hopper?

Every body gossips about his appearance, the congregation was scared, they did not what happens with Minister Hopper.

The funeral

The Following the afternoon service, Hooper officiates at the funeral of a young woman.

A mourner states that she saw the corpse shudder upon seeing under the veil to the now-covered face of the minister, while another woman describes seeing the minister and the dead young woman standing hand in hand after the funeral.

His fiancee Elizabeth asked him to take off his veil, so she could see his face, and she begged him to tell her the truth about his veil, but he answered with a no clear explanation:

Mr. Hooper's smile glimmered faintly.

"There is an hour to come," said he, "when all of us shall cast aside our veils. Take it not amiss, beloved friend, if I wear this piece of crape till then."
